This site is maintained to catalogue the travels of myself, Mrs Karen Goodwin and our two children. |
Corcovado, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 1988 |
A word of warning... You will no doubt recognise a recurring theme throughout this website, that being the presence of a stuffed animal on almost all our trips. Please do not be alarmed. There is a plausible explanation... When our youngest son Damien was about 5 yrs old his favourite toy was a stuffed white cat called "Mr Whiskey". On our first trip away as a family he insisted in bringing it along, sort of like a security blanket. As he grew older he soon outgrew this trait but as "Mr Whiskey" had been a regular traveller from day one, Karen then insisted that he continue to accompany us on all future trips as his presence was "a tradition". Unfortunately Simon, Damien & myself soon grew to loathe the presence of this wretched animal and it's dominating presence in almost every photo! |
